Bachelorette Party Outfits
Before you read this post any further, ask yourself, like seriously ask yourself this.. “Is there anything in my closet that I like and can wear?” If the answer is yes, exit out of this post iMMEDIATELY. If not keep reading :)
So that was a serious question I had to ask myself while prepping to shop for an upcoming bachelorette party, I literally have a dress in my closet that I wore last summer that would match the theme perfectly. It’s actually listed for sale in my online closet or you can also purchase it brand new off fashionnova.com. I got it at a cute boutique in LA a couple of days before my trip and so far have only wore it ONCE.
In college I was notorious for buying a new outfit for every new outing and now in my 30s I’m trying to slow down my fast fashion actions. Granted I’m about to give you a list of fast fashion options for yourself but I do encourage you to pause and take a moment to see if there’s anything in your current possession that works. If not, do yourself a favor and sell some clothes to counteract your upcoming fast fashion consumption. Okay enough consciousness let’s get back to mindless shopping.
The theme for night 1 is island glam. And here’s a list of current options I am browsing through for this trip.
Day 2 theme is Bikini’s n Bellini so here are the options I’m considering:
For our Day 1 Adventure, we’re going on a boat! That means matching shirts, sunnies, a cover up and cute bikini underneath. Granted I have a cute monokini I can wear at home. BUT for some reason I still have to purchase something. Here’s what I have in mind.
Night 2: Drunk In Love
The colors are pinks, reds, black and of course white for the bride. YES I have dresses at home, but I still feel the need to shop. Here’s a few of my options.
This is a pretty short bacholerette weekend. So not a lot of outfits needed! I’ll check back in with y’all after the trip to show you what I actually wore. But I need to know: do you feel the urge to shop before a trip or do you wear what you have at home? Sound off in the comments below. I’ll see ya’ll in the next post!
