My Goals for August 2019

New month, new goals my friends!

Can you believe we’re officially half way through the year?! It’s about that time where we either give up on our goals completely or revisit them again to make another stride to the end of the year!

  1. READ 2 BOOKS

I've really been wanting to get back into reading more books this year so I’m giving myself two books to read this month. I’ve already started reading Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and though slightly triggered I am liking this paradigm shift my mind is going through.

I’m extra excited to read Tim Wise’s Under the Affluence after because I think it will be a good contrast to the 7 Habits but also a good read for California’s current homelessness crisis.

2. POST 3 YOUTUBE VIDEOS EACH WEEK

Youtube, my little slow growing baby. I’ve learned that consistency is probably thee most important key to growing on YouTube so I am finally working on a calendar and creating scheduled PRE-FILMED content for the month of August and the rest of the year. This will definitely be a challenge but I am so up for it! Use the button below to check out my channel!

3. EXERCISE 5X A WEEK

I’ll be using my gym’s app to monitor my check-in progress! This year I’ve been pretty consistent with hitting the gym 1-2 a week but lets be honest, that’s not going to get me to my goals. My goal is to be the person who gets up and works out/meditates every morning. I’m working on it!

4. MEDITATE EVERY MORNING

Meditating is one of the easiest yet hardest things to do. Hard to remember to do, easy to do once you get in the hang of it. I’m planning on using a journal to keep track of my sessions.

5. ACV SHOT EVERY MORNING.

Apple Cider Vinegar is gross but I’m almost a week into taking a shot with water every morning and I have no reports for you guys yet, I’m sorry. Haha but hopefully by the end of the month I will have a full report for you all.

Now that you know my goals, I want to hear yours! Even if you’re not into goal-setting and all that jazz you can still try it out, it won’t hurt :)

Until next time my loves!
